Bio
DraculaZombieUSA is a large group of nice young people.
Will Schachterle, a scientist and DZUSA's ace #1 fella, writes the following to explain what this group is exactly.
"OK. A lot has changed since I wrote what is below* (see "bio circa '05" below). I'll leave it up for the time being, but I have every intention of updating you on these matters in a detailed way (psh, like you care). Anyway, for now I'll say Danielle and I moved to San Francisco (graduate school ladies and germs, button down collared shirts, in/superiority complexes, coffee, repetitive stress syndromes, colds, fluorescent lighting, time points, colleagues) and Travis stayed in NYC. But we wanted to keep the dream of DZUSA alive. So, we have this franchise band thing. Travis is leading a crew of cats and dogs on the east coast. You got your Bryan Bruchman, Tina DaCosta, Daniella Chminelli, Gena Bestoso, and Mary Phillips-Sandy going out there giving one hundred and ten percent. They play shows which I'm told are very exciting and sweaty. They are DraculaZombieUSA (the East Coast Annex). Here in the Yay Area, I've recruited my man Noah AKA JAMF to do something we call DraculaZombieUSA (the West Coast Solution). We are making remixes and blends, and spinning and eating very tasty Mission burritos."
So anyhow, Serious Business released DraculaZombieUSA's debut jam-tome, the eponymous debut CD (SBR05) in 2005. That is this thing:

They are currently working on the epic bi-coastal follow up with the working title of Plan Practice which will hit shelves in the latter part of the year of our Lord 2007. In the meantime, while you wait you oughtta gnaw on this, NICE FIXTURES, a 36 min. super party time mix of blends, remixes, blends of remixes, and remixes of remixes brought to you by the West Coast Solution...

Will Schachterle sings and uses a laptop to kick out unique skitters and breaks. Travis Harrison plays drums with the mercilessness of a methamphetamined puma. Versatile Andy Ross plays bass, guitar, and sings. And Danielle Pickett helps out with the vocals and the getting-down. At drum and bass tempos (Aphex Twin, Lightning Bolt, Death From Above 1979), they play psychedelic party jams (Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads) with fancy and fetching lyrics. They sing about space travel, the frustrations of fecklessness, and leading a colony of bears against a gang of medieval monsters. At their hyper live shows, our heroes are out to get everyone shaking it. Ask for some moon-walking- Will will bring it.
"Dracula Zombie USA: Three women in wifebeaters and black miniskirts wearing dead-president masks, accompanied by a male cohort clad in a Dracula cape and George Bush mask. They played a dance-beat-fueled riot-grrrl mashup we'll call punko - or maybe discunk?"
